HOW CHELSEA HOLDS THE KEY TO ARSERNAL SIGNING PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG.

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly agreed a deal with Chelsea to sign Michy Batshuayi on loan for the remainder of the season. Following developments late last night, the Bundesliga outfit are set to dip into the transfer market for a new striker as they seek a replacement for top scorer Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang after accepting a £55m offer from the Blues' London rivals Arsenal. According to German publication Bild, the Gabon international's move to the Emirates Stadium at some point today and Dortmund have moved quickly to bring in cover and have agreed a deal with the West London outfit for Batshuayi having seen their attempts to sign Olivier Giroud fall through. In what could turn out to be a transfer merry-go round between the trio of clubs, the Frenchman is courting interest at Stamford Bridge as Antonio Conte looks to sign a targetman before Wednesday's deadline after seeing a move for Edin Dzeko run into complications. The Italian did appear to offer Batshuayi hope for a future at the Bridge after the Belgian international netted a brace in yesterday afternoon's 4-0 win over Newcastle United in the fourth round of the FA Cup. "Loan? I don’t know what happens. But when you play Premier League, Champions League and then FA Cup, if we have three strikers it is the minimum," Conte told reporters. “We have to see what happens in the market. It doesn’t mean Michy has to go on loan. We have a lot of competitions. Three strikers is the minimum.
