CHELSEA HAVE BEEN HANDED A BOOST IN THEIR PURSUIT FOR TWO STAR PLAYERS
Vidal
Chelsea have been handed a boost in their pursuit of Arturo Vidal as it has been claimed Bayern Munich will not sell to Inter Milan.
Arturo Vidal has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich amid reports the Bundesliga champions are looking to cash in on the 30-year-old.
He will have just one year remaining on his contract at the end of the season and could make way for Bayern’s younger players.
Inter Milan and Chelsea have both been linked with moves for the Chile international in the January transfer window.
However, Italian outlet CalcioMercato claim there is no hope of Vidal making the move to the San Siro in the New Year.
Inter are said to want a loan deal for the midfielder with a first-refusal clause but Bayern are not playing ball.
Yannick Carrasco
Chelsea have had a boost in their pursuit of Yannick Carrasco with Atletico Madrid ready to sell.
Chelsea tried to land the winger last summer but were knocked back.
But they will be encouraged to try again in January with Antonio Conte still looking for new recruits.
AS have claimed Atletico are plotting a major overhaul following their Champions League failure.
They failed to progress to the last 16 and Diego Simeone wants to start fresh.
