CHELSEA AT THE DISADVANTAGE OF SIGNING £85M EXPLOSIVE WINGER

Manchester United’s wishes of landing Gareth Bale have reportedly been given a boost by Real Madrid placing a £85m price tag on the attacker.
Man United have been strongly linked with a transfer for the Wales international in last transfer windows, however, have so far been powerless to lure him away from the Bernabeu, with Madrid earlier reluctant to entertain suggestions.

But, the Mirror suggests that the European champions have become more exasperated by Bale’s injury report and are now considering cashing in on the 28-year-old.
Bale has earlier been sidelined by a calf damager however last week picked up a thigh obstacle which could keep him out for the remainder of the year.
Madrid will now reportedly accept bids from £85m for the attacker, who cost Los Blancos a related amount when he moved from Tottenham Hotspur in a then-world record deal in 2013.
But, The Red Devils are likely to face competition for his services from other Premier League giants with Chelsea and Spurs also between the interested sides.
Bale has netted 70 goals in 159 games for Madrid, helping the team to three Champions League titles, one La Liga title and one Copa del Rey.
